Dr. Angelopoulos is a Research Associate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from where he obtained his degree in Dentistry and his Doctorate. He received a Diploma in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Physiology from the University of Toronto,where at graduation he received the Aaron Posen award for excellence and creativity in the Orthodontic graduate programme. He has received many awards, including the Harry Sicher First Research Award from the AAO. He was a co-recipient of the European Invisalign Award in 2017, 2018 and 2021. His presentations are focused on aligners, self-ligation and interdisciplinary orthodontics. He serves as a reviewer for numerous journals including the AJODO. He has published in many Greek and international journals. Today is elected President of the Greek Orthodontic Aligner Society, Vice-president of the Greek Association for Orthodontic Study and Research member of the committee of Orthodontics of the Central Council of Health, member of the scientific committee of the Dental Association Of Attica, Ambassador of the American Association for Orthodontics and MOIP for Greece and councillor of the World Federation of Orthodontists.
